Why Short Works in Article Marketing

I like reading novels. Though they usually are hundred pages long, the number doesn't really bother me. But that is only if the book I read is a real page-turner. That page-turner quality works too in article marketing but not as good as keeping things short.

Online articles are always not more than a page. If you are into online writing, the focus should always be on keeping the attention of the readers up until the end of the article. But then, why and how it is done?

Accept it or not, as an online audience, you are more time-wise compared to print media readers. Seeing a completely long article leaves you bored and confused. It makes you feel that too much of your time will be consumed for a not so assured information that you can get. With that being said, why would you or anyone else bother reading if you know you can't stand finishing it?

To be a success in article marketing, put yourself in your reader's place. Will a very long article entice you? Will it make you stop and start reading?

Well maybe, it will make you stop but only to think and to complain of a what a long piece of reading it is.

If by just the appearance of your work you've lost the interest of any reader, you've dragged your article marketing strategy down. That reader could-have-been a customer. A prospected client that could have added to your profit. This, will then lead you to a failure.

In article marketing, your online articles should be straight to the point. Presenting ideas in a long winding sentences is a big no-no. This will just put your readers to a yawning state if not jumping to another writing that they think is much more worth reading.

Information keeps the internet going. It' s the main reason you and I surf the net. Big or small these information maybe, the way they are presented matters in article marketing. By keeping your articles short but content rich, your audience's attention will sure be captured.

Remember that what is short in article marketing is what works better. Just keep in mind though that a good content must go with it.
